With the continuous development of creative spaces in recent years, the demand for flexibility and spatial reconfiguration has become increasingly prominent. This project introduces a 1200mm wide white custom sliding partition wall designed to adapt to the ever-changing needs of studios, galleries, classrooms, conference rooms, or multi-purpose rooms.
With a clean and modern appearance, it can accommodate a variety of functions, such as exhibitions, discussions, workshops, or focused work, without altering the original structure.
The design concept follows the logic of integrating a flexible sliding wall partition system into the existing spatial framework. Each sliding panel is 1200mm wide, forming a modular structure that can be expanded, combined, or retracted according to usage needs. The panels are installed via a ceiling track system, maintaining the continuity of the floor and respecting the architectural integrity of the existing space.
The task of this renovation was to introduce the sliding wall partition function without disrupting the spatial order. Just as the lighting system is embedded in the framework to adapt to different scenarios, the sliding partition wall system is placed within the framework, allowing it to naturally grow with the space rather than compete with it.
When fully extended, the movable partitions divide the space into separate areas suitable for meetings, workshops, or focused work. When retracted, the partition wall disappears into the background, creating a large open environment suitable for exhibitions or group activities. The repetitive rhythm of 1200 mm not only defines the physical order of the partition wall but also brings a sense of visual structure to the entire space.
It is believed that space is understood not only through observation but also through movement and interaction. This 1200 mm wide modular partition wall system transforms a static space into a container for ever-changing scenes, guiding users to experience the space in different time dimensions and functional modes.
This custom 1.2-meter sliding partition wall, with its clean white finish and minimalist design language, complements the diverse interior environments. Its function goes beyond division—it guides, transforms, and activates the potential of every square meter.
