For this project, Daitachi installed a white vertical folding retractable wall system to divide the company's reception desk and a conference room, increasing floor area while maximizing flexibility and meeting acoustic requirements.
By incorporating this space-saving folding wall mechanism, we enhanced the flexibility of the workplace. The vertical folding acoustical partition folds neatly upward into a ceiling pocket, therefore out of sight and taking up no floor space at all when not in use. This enables a clean and professional appearance while offering instant transformation from open to enclosed mode.
We have also equipped the system with an LCD touchscreen panel for intuitive control. With just a push of a button, this interior vertical folding soundproof partition door achieves an impressive Rw 62 acoustic rating, ensuring that meetings can proceed undisturbed on both sides.
Our fully automatic vertically folding partition wall is designed with safety as a top priority. The panel is equipped with built-in obstacle detection sensors that monitor the area beneath the wall during operation. If a person or object is detected underneath, the system automatically halts and slightly retracts the wall upward. It remains in this position until the obstruction is cleared, at which point it resumes its downward movement. This intelligent safety mechanism ensures secure operation, allowing users to operate the system with confidence.
