Bakerwall has provided a custom semi-automatic movable partition system for the multi-functional conference spaces at the Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Building. This solution combines ease of operation, sound insulation, and high-quality panel craftsmanship, effectively meeting the demands for flexibility and versatility in modern commercial office environments.

The project includes three sets of semi-automatic movable partitions. Each set spans 7,800 mm in length, with a panel height of 2,500 mm and a finished thickness of 110 mm. The partitions feature a high-density core and perimeter seals, which effectively block sound transmission between areas; meanwhile, precise panel joinery ensures a clean, seamless appearance across the wall surface.

This semi-automatic system allows users to flexibly divide large conference areas into independent rooms or combine them into an expansive open space, accommodating a wide range of meetings and corporate events. The sliding mechanism enables smooth, effortless movement of the panels, while the overhead track system ensures operational stability and supports versatile spatial configurations.

When an open-plan layout is required, the panels can be moved to the side and stored neatly, maximizing the available floor space.
