Baker’s manually operable partition walls are top-supported, individually suspended, and feature smooth-rolling panels—each equipped with two precision trolleys. Designed without floor tracks, these operable walls offer flexibility in layout, excellent acoustic performance, and easy handling. Follow the instructions below for safe and proper operation.

Top-Supported Panels: Extend from ceiling to floor with no floor track required.
Manual Operation: Each panel is moved by hand.
Individually Suspended: Panels glide along a ceiling-mounted track.
Side Stack Configuration: Panels park neatly at one end when not in use.
Acoustic Sealing: Includes fixed top seals and manually activated bottom seals.
Closure Panel: Final panel with an expanding mechanism to ensure full acoustic closure.
Step 1: Moving the First Panel
Begin with all panels in the stacking area. Roll the first panel onto the main track. Ensure the lead edge is facing the intended closing direction.
Step 2: Engaging Acoustic Seals
Align the panel in position. Insert the crank handle into the central socket. Turn the handle counterclockwise halfway to activate top and bottom seals.
Step 3: Connecting Additional Panels
Roll the next panel into place. Align with the previous panel and repeat the sealing process.
Step 4: Closing the System
Move the closure panel into position. Insert the crank handle into the designated socket. Rotate continuously until the panel expands fully—no visible gaps or light should remain.
Step 5: Opening the Wall
To open, reverse the steps: Fully retract all seals using the crank ; Carefully return panels to the stacking area.
Retract Before Moving: Always retract top and bottom seals before panel movement to prevent damage.
Stacking Guidance: Push panels from the rear edge for best alignment.
Proper Handle Use: Use only the designated rear socket for sealing. Never use the joints.
Furniture Clearance: Maintain a 600mm (24") clearance from walls during operation.
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your ceiling-mounted system.
1.1 Regular Inspection
Track Alignment: Ensure smooth panel movement and even gaps.
Fasteners: Check that ceiling mounts are tight and secure.
Suspension Rollers: Inspect for wear, fraying, or damage.
1.2 Cleaning
Track & Panel Tops: Use a duster or vacuum.
Gentle Wipe-Down: Damp cloth only; avoid abrasive cleaners.
1.3 Operational Precautions
No Forcing: Stop immediately if resistance is felt.
Check for Obstructions: Use a flashlight to inspect the path for debris.
1.4 Lubrication
Annual Service: Lubricate rollers and track joints once per year with approved lubricant.
Use Proper Tools: Apply carefully and test movement afterward.
2.1 Authorized Personnel Only
Ensure only trained individuals operate the system. Provide clear operation and emergency instructions.
2.2 No Unauthorized Modifications
Never dismantle or modify components yourself. Always consult a certified technician.
2.3 Use the Right Tools
Use only the supplied crank handle. Replace lost or damaged tools with manufacturer-approved parts.
2.4 Safe Work at Height
Wear proper safety gear when accessing overhead components. Never work alone or overreach—use a spotter.
2.5 In Case of Emergency
Stop use immediately if abnormal noise, jamming, or damage is noticed. Contact service technicians—do not attempt self-repair.
2.6 Routine Safety Checks
Perform scheduled safety inspections. Watch for ceiling damage, loose track fittings, or worn safety devices.
