The Baker Type 70 Series Manual Operable Partition Wall is a top-hung partition system designed for flexible space division in offices, hotels, conference rooms, and other commercial interiors.

Featuring 70 mm thick individual panels, the system operates manually along an overhead track without requiring a floor track. Manually operated top and bottom compression seals help provide acoustic separation between adjoining spaces.

With aluminum alloy framing and customizable decorative finishes, the Type 70 Series can be integrated into different interior designs while allowing rooms to be divided or reopened as needed.

70 mm Panel Design

The 70 mm panel profile provides a defined partition thickness for flexible commercial room layouts. Panel dimensions and construction can be selected according to project requirements.

Manual Operation

Individual panels slide horizontally along an overhead track. The top and bottom compression seals are operated manually after the panels are positioned.

Top-Hung Track System

Overhead tracks and roller assemblies support smooth panel movement without a continuous floor track, helping maintain an uninterrupted floor surface.

Acoustic Sealing

Compression seals at the top and bottom of the panels help reduce sound transmission between adjoining rooms. Acoustic performance depends on the selected construction and installation conditions.

Customizable Finishes

Available decorative options include laminate, HPL, wood veneer, fabric, steel, and other finishes, subject to the selected configuration.

Specifications marked with an asterisk are carried over from the Type 85 Series as requested and require confirmation for the Type 70 configuration before publication.

Acoustic and fire-resistance ratings should be added only after the corresponding Type 70 technical documentation or test reports are confirmed.
