Cost of labor to moving partitions that soundproof are approximately 20% to 25 percent of the overall expense. Cost reduction can be achieved through four different routes including standardized layout as well as modular construction tools, and managing. The analysis focuses on particular technological and managerial methods, and offers viable alternatives.
1. Standardized Modular Design
The issue Partitions that are custom-designed and not part of the standard layout require cutting and drilling on-site and require a greater amount of time to work.
Solution:
Size Standardization: Establish the dimensions of partitions to standards such as 600/900/1200mm. The rises are incremented by 300mm (e.g. 3000/3300/3600mm) in order to minimize the requirement to cut.
Interface Universalization: Standardize the requirements for keels, tracks and connectors (e.g. with an universal track system, such as the kind 85) in order to guarantee that components can be reused for various types of projects.
2. Pre-assembly Design
Problem: The assembly on site of the panels and frames requires several workers. This can result in low productivity.
Solution:
Factory Pre-assembly: Assemble the frame, the panel, as and pulleys. To create semi-finished goods in manufacturing facilities (e.g., "keel + panel" unit). On-site assembly is only joining the track with the unit.
Quick-connectors: Pick snap-on connectors with bolts (e.g. spring pins, self-tapping screws) by using a single point connection with a time less than five minutes.

1. Segmented Installation Method
The problem is that large partitions require several people in order to transport the load. The result is a high risk to security as well as a cost to workers.
Solution:
Ground Segmented Assembly: Divide the segment into 3 to 4 meters long segmented units. Install the frame, panels and a strip of sealing onto the surface. After that, you can move the whole piece up on the track using the lift platform powered by hydraulics.
Single Person Model of Operation: Install light pulleys (single partition weight greater than 150kg) which allow one person to pull the highest part.
2. Coordination of Cross-Construction Work
Challenge: Partition installation often overlaps with decoration and mechanical/electrical work, leading to work stoppages due to material shortages or rework.
Solution:
BIM Collaboration Platform: Using BIM models to simulate collision points between partitions and mechanical/electrical pipelines and ceilings in advance optimizes the construction sequence.
Pre-processing: Install tracks and fixing elements on the wall's preparation step so that they won't harm the wall surface later on.
